If you look at the diagnostics I see the problem is caused by a CRC error, which leds me to believe the memory has been damaged in some way. Phone works perfectly now. If the Phillips screwdriver were magnetized, or if I'd had a pair of long tweezers, that would have gone a lot easier.
Gosh those wee screws can be a challenge to work with - just be patient. Or you have damaged the screen when reinstalling a new 1 should sort it.. Its going to take longer to re-calibrate the new battery "running it down less than to 10%" than it took to physically replace the battery.
